Rated Deep Work: Rules for Focused Success in a Distracted World 10/10

I've been reading Cal Newport's work for a long time, but it's still well worth spending some deep time with Deep Work, in which he crystalizes a lot of advice I've been reading but not necessarily absorbing. I'd already gotten into the habit of protecting my best mental energy time fiercely, and working to block out time for deep work... but it wasn't until I read his cogent arguments that I really came to terms with my own need to pretty much ditch Facebook and reclaim my time and attention. I feel so much better--I'm getting more work done, reading more books, and spending more time on things that matter to me.
