This has very interesting world building ideas. The large ships moving between distant planets, bringing news etc. is a great idea. But I didn't feel the story itself was gripping enough. It picks up in the last few pages, but irritatingly then doesn't come to any conclusion - I guess there's another book following this, but I personally didn't want to wade through another.
