Rated Elevation 3/10
By the same people as A Quite Place, which is very obvious since both movies have the same structure setting wise. However, the premise makes no sense. The concept of A Quite Place, where monsters are attracted by sound alone, is solid despite the plot holes. It lends itself very well to a horror setting, as at any moment someone could drop something, attracting the monster. But with this movie? The elevation? Not only does that make far less sense, it also doesn't add any suspense. It's just an arbitrary way to make "safe zones". There's no risk of unexpectedly being in danger, the characters always make the choice to enter dangerous areas. On top of that, the monster's appearance is revealed very early on, and it's not very scary. This removes any and all fear of the unknown, making this a bad horror movie. And finally, there's the story/characters. They're just boring, and the acting isn't great either. One of the characters gets killed by the monster, and no one seems to care all that much.
