Chef Kwame is able to weave different moments in his journey together invisibly. One moment you're in the Bronx learning about his traumatic childhood, the next you're in Nigeria. His story is reflective of the minority experience inany different fields, unspoken insults, microagressions, education constantly being questioned. His ability to rise above it all, and still maintain the pride, and swagger is an inspiration.
