It's been difficult to look at Hollywood and the treatment of child actors for the past years, knowing the treatment that many kids had to suffer through so that they could put food on the table for their families. The unjust pressures, the harassment, the traumas, this book dives into it all. It's hard to walk away not hating the mother and feeling upset for what Jennette went through and had to endure. Well written, well narrated, and hoping that she can or has found her peace.
