It was good to have Agent Fatwa back in the lead. As always a creative and well-constructed world of supernatural beings and magic. I liked the plot twist of having to work around magic to get information.<br/><br/>I don't know if this was the first full-length novel published by the author, but I felt like there were... holes? in urgency of the plot. Fast-paced parts strung out by waylaying scenes of people talking about things that ultimately weren't particularly useful to the plot or much for character development. Like it would've been tighter if it had been shorter as previously published books in this universe have been. I would've read it much faster if I wasn't at a good bit and then hitting a bit of a wall when reading a slow bit and wanting to put the book down.<br/><br/>Not taking those parts into account, I really enjoyed the story and Agent Fatwa once again saving Earth!
