Rated The Psychopath Test: A Journey Through the Madness Industry 8/10

I worked in psych research labs for 5+ years, so I found this very interesting. I think it really impresses the fact that there's a lot in the psychology/psychiatry fields that are completely subjective. There's also a lot which is completely absurd to the point that people who would be considered mad run around free while people who are actually normal (or at least borderline normal) are locked up and/or medicated into submission. I think the part where he discusses how many professionals are now using an arbitrarily/chaotically-created checklist and wielding powerful/dangerous medications on 'inconvenient' behaviors, especially in children, angered me most. A 3 year old being diagnosed with bipolar disorder??? And made to take 10 pills a day? No wonder the child ended up dead by parents giving them to her like candy! In the quest to make everyone "normal," too many medicated zombies are being created (from the cradle!) and we will someday suffer severely for it.
