Rated Satantango 10/10

Wow. When I first found out about this 7 hour monster, I thought: "There's NO way a narrative film can BE that interesting for THAT long." because I'm a person who hates sitting through films in which nothing happens for long periods of time and the payoffs aren't worth it. I will also admit that I kind of expected to hate this film due to being labeled "Slow cinema". After 7 hours, I can say this film is in my top 10! A Very interesting plot-line with sounds and music that help carry the film! The dialogue really makes the characters stick out! The Cinematography and music create this dread and depressive film that keeps you mesmerized! I might not re-watch it much in the future due to it's monstrous length, but I'll definitely remember the few times I watch it! 5/5
