good horror movie! it managed to get me really spooked in a way i haven't felt in a while. not entirely sure if i liked the direction the story ended up taking and there's definitely some plot contrivances that are not up to my taste. overall, a very enjoyable watch that got me pretty frightened and didn't just do cheap jumpscares.
