Rated Barbarian 9/10

This is one of my favourite modern horror movies ever If you're considering watching, my recommendation is that you don't look up anything about it, not even a trailer or a synopsis This one works so much better if you don't know know what type of horror to expect from it It was nice revisiting it after watching the most recent movie from the director, Weapons, a movie that was pretty disappointing in my opinion, specially being already a big fan of Barbarian I love the psychological aspect of it, a movie that left me in an anxious state through its entirety From the story and concept to the photography, visual effects and audio work I'm really passionate about this movie !! SEMI-SPOILERS BELOW !! It just isn't a 5 star movie to me because I velieve one of the points of view didn't really work out, a problem that got worse in Weapons They tell too much in a scene where it could have been shown and they show too much of something that didn't need to be told at all Too much explanation can really kill some of the vibes But overall, still one of my favourite horror movies from recent times, even after a rewatch
