Roddy Piper goes woke!!! Iconic anti-consumer sci-fi. It's a little long (and not just the street fight) but still fun. Keith David was great, and I kinda wish they had Kurt Russel or someone with a little more charisma as the lead. I wasn't into wrestling until the 90s, so I had no existing affinity for Rowdy Roddy going into this. He only has 3 modes in this film: neutral, confused, and asshole. In fact, the movie comes off as a critique of the ineptitude of leftist movements and that guy from college who justifiably buys into anti-capitalist ideals but is just a jerk about it to everybody.
