Rated Frankenstein 6/10
I'll always dig a movie in which Guillermo gets to go full-on del Toro with the fantastical monsters and gears and wetness and the exploration of death and childhood and whatnot. It does each of these things great at times, but not cohesively. It also veers into melodrama in a sincere way that it doesn't really earn.
