The movie expected me to be endeared to these characters from the start, and I guess I hadn't done my part beforehand. The characters' arcs were pretty muted. SamLJack looks like he's had his fill of being Nick Fury. Iman & the family were super charming, though. Saw it for the CGI spectacle and at least got some of that.
