Rated Ghost in the Shell 8/10

This has long been established in my brain as the prototypical badass 90s scifi anime for Adult Swim-loving, pimply teenagers in black trenchcoats. I've seen it in pieces over the years, but finally watched it start to finish. Lots of interesting ground here that has been 200% covered in subsequent media, so it's hard to be wowed as someone in 2025 watching it, especially with dialog that's so on the nose. But it's still a good watch.
