This movie goes at 100mph because it was supposed to be spread out across a season of Disney+, which would have made the character development and plot more digestible and earned. There are moments in the film where you can see the original beats of a payoff for an established conflict or growth opportunity, but the film never takes the time to build up to those moments. It's just hit after hit of new characters, plot points, and low stakes presented as if they aren't. Also, lots of fan service (the "look, we referenced your favorite line from the first movie," not the sexy kind.) Music was uninspired. Lin-Man needs to hang it up. Still better than I expected. Dwayney J did great, and the Kakamora were fun.
