This one is just great. I think I've read all of [a:Joe Abercrombie|276660|Joe Abercrombie|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1421267339p2/276660.jpg]'s books and this one seems to be set in its own world separate from the others. It almost feels like it's following a formula but it's how it does it that makes it so great (kind of a <i>Dirty Dozen</i> inspired quest story, but the dozen are the Devils, various monsters brought together by a mysterious church Ministry). Combination of very well-written action as usual, great characters who mostly get their own different viewpoint chapters, and a bunch of politics and twists. I really hope there are sequels to this one.
