Good page turner, I can see why it got adapted for TV. A few cliches, but usually there's something done to make them feel fresh. One thing I found disorienting was that the book would change scenes in the middle of a page with no indication and it would sometimes take a paragraph or two to figure it out (e.g. because a character was speaking who hadn't been present in the previous scene).
