I saw this was about super-heroes and had some good reviews, but it wasn't really what I thought it would be. More literary, maybe a little along the lines of Lethem's <i>Fortress of Solitude</i> but not as wide-ranging. Most of it is just people telling stories to each other and several times I had trouble telling the narrators apart -- they all seemed to have the same voice. It has a few interesting points about art but I'm not sure they fit with the thin trappings of a super-hero team. Some good sentences though, I'm not disappointed that I read it even though it wasn't what I was looking for.
