This took me a very long time to get into, like almost to the end. There would be sections that I liked, but then it switch to a different part with different characters (and a different font!), and most of them never joined up. A lot of the prose is great and the author is good at characterizing through the language he uses, sometimes first person, sometimes not, but it's a pretty dark book too and it didn't make me feel very good.
