Rated Scarlet 8/10

Fun movie but pretty weird! Scarlet visibly throws up in the first ten minutes and it only goes downhill for her from there. Why was there a hula like half an hour into the movie? There's also a separate dance break in the middle that comes out of basically nowhere? I thought this movie was going to end badly because it sure was building up to a stupid end, but actually it had a pretty solid ending. I was just baffled throughout the movie, mostly because about half the characters are just from Shakespeare. The animation is, hm, weird, pretty solid 3D animation (and 2D when they deign to) except for the dance break which was very obviously inspired by MMD animations and it showed, and also all the crowd scenes. The core song for the movie was, like, decent, I don't know if I liked it. The random Japanese man that is of course essential to the plot can be very annoying at times. Also the coffin jumpscare was Not Necessary. The twist at the climax was pretty obvious but Scarlet's voice acting and animation were very compelling throughout so I didn't mind.
