Rated Paris, Texas 7/10
Some fucking beautiful photography in this, both Texas and LA; real ‘feel-the-film-stock-and-actual-locations’ type stuff - nostalgic too (legitimate 80s LA cityscape beauty shots????). Oh and HDS was great. Lost me in the back half tho, more enjoyed the melancholic memory-loss mystery than the I’m-an-asshole-who-deserted-my-wife monologues.
