Damn, weak. I *know* this is a Scream film but: * way too bogged down in references, Easter eggs, callbacks (OMG a fucking coat! I memba!!!) * too long (90% of films are nowadays, but it still counts) * a bit lightweight a story, and also a bit all-over-the-place, killer/reveal kinda out of nowhere (again, yes EVEN for a Scream film) * as such, kind of retroactively deletes the plot/character development of the last two requel entries, in favour of MAJORLY WASTED returning characters (the main one in particular felt like a full-on Eric Roberts, when he records his parts in 30 mins by himself whist sat on his sofa at home) * Sidney’s daughter who’s nearly the same fucking age as her. Boo.
