Rated The Tiger: A True Story of Vengeance and Survival 8/10

Really interesting overall. 2/3 of the book are really more about life in the Russian far east than about the tiger attack. - which I was cool with. Other readers might not like that so much though. Also there was a single spelling inconsistency that really grated at me. For the first third or so of the book we have a character named "Onofrecuk". For the rest of the book he becomes "Onofreychuk". This just made it seem like the book was written in separate, independent pieces, and the slapped together much later into the final package.
