Rated Mandy 8/10

This movie is insane. Not to get all "Cosmic Gumbo" on you but this movie was particularly cool because I feel like my horror knowledge has leveled up a bit in the last year or so. Saw a little bit of Carpenter, Cronenberg, Corman, Lynch with a dash of Jorodowski thrown in. We love a Nic Cage movie around here but it's easy to see how this was the start of his current upswing we now have the pleasure to witness. I want to see more from Cosmatos. If there were any justice in this world we'd have as many Mandys as we do John Wicks by now (and don't get me wrong I love John Wick).
