Rated Cat People 7/10

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Schrader is supremely underrated.  He manages to marry the pulpy schlock of the material with a haunting and beautiful visual flair. He steals from so many great directors too. He’s like if Tarantino watched good movies.  That said this movie would make a good double feature with Inglorious Basterds cause of the musical link. But it turned out to also be a good pairing with my first week LSC movie, Stoker, cause of the whole thirst for blood as sexual awakening thing.  Fun times.
