Boomer shit. Plain and simple. Anyone going to the mat for this movie hasn't seen it in at least 10 years, guaranteed. The whole "murder grandpa" thing might have been cute at some point but it REALLY didn't age well. Even without the benefit of hindsight, I would buy the whole "Eastwood reexamining his legacy" thing if the whole movie wasn't just a giant white savior yank fest. A movie made by an insecure, humorless old prick for other insecure, humorless old pricks that would feel right at home on PureFlix or The Daily Wire. Eastwood is a legend. His legacy as both a performer and a director are untouchable. But this movie blows chunks.
