Rated The Big Heat 9/10

I’d already seen this but didn’t remember any of it until I got into it a little so I’m just writing this for my own posterity.  Great, hard boiled cop thriller. Excellent performances from Glenn Ford and Gloria Graham. The writing is snappy and iconic with action and violence that is surprisingly unflinching for the era. Can easily see how this is the prototype for every renegade cop you’ve ever seen in the movies.  Fun stuff
