Rated McCabe & Mrs. Miller 9/10

This one was a banger basically from jump. The atmosphere, the texture, the music, the acting, Altman just making the whole thing look so easy.  What a galaxy brained idea to take a Western…the most sun drenched, bone dry genre there ever was and do the entire thing in the dark and the rain and snow. How did this not launch an entirely new subgenre?!
