Can see a lot of David Lynch in the sauce here but there's a bit of Terry Gilliam and some Polish Moral Anxiety cinema in there. I dunno if I understood it completely or whatever but I thought it was fun. Any opportunity to watch Jesse Eisenberg in something that isn't a wet fart blockbuster is always a good thing. He's got that Ethan Hawke effect where the quality of his performance is inversely proportional to how many people are going to end up seeing it.
