Rated Strangers on a Train 8/10

This book is weird! I mean the book can't help it, but it all feels so 'tropey' the train thing but of course this book is the original one. It was a long read, and boring here and there, I am sure I would have not been able to finish it as a paper book, but in audio it was good (read by Bronson Pinchot on Audible with some good voice work). The way the characters interact is really well-designed, you understand the needs of the both of them (being friends/loved versus being left alone) really well.
