It brought me to tears. What an amazing movie. So happy I got to watch it at TIFF50 and stay for the Q&A with the director, Eva Thomas, and the actress for Madison, Star Slade. The costume design was a definitive highlight for me, especially in the final scene. The music choices were really solid, and the Toronto cinematography was so cool and beautiful, it actually made me feel kind of proud to live in this goddamned city.
