Rated Love Lies Bleeding 9/10

Felt like I had a three-course meal after watching this movie. It is all you’d want from it and more. Great performances; insidious, funny, absurd, and terrifying. The sound design was amazing too — It made feel like I was tripping alongside the characters. I imagine some people would really dislike the ending but I thought it was absolutely genius and hilarious. I also did not find it gratuitous, much like the gore. I found both very purposeful and impactful. If you rewatch the movie, I’m sure you’ll be able to foresee the signs and small details included since the beginning. Also, I love a lesbian happy ending… or close enough lol.
