Rated Fringe 7/10

a lighthearted sci-fi detective show. for the most part i really liked it especially Lance Reddick’s work where one particular episode shows his range (i miss him). the procedural episodes remind me a little of the X-Files mysteries and the main plot is compelling enough to keep my attention and wraps up in the end. the “lovable grandpa” (John Noble) is creepy and hits on everyone. he does not hold up and doesn’t add anything to his character. we already dislike for his academic snobbery and classism so the misogyny felt like an excuse to just write weird jokes.
