Rated The Dark Knight Rises 10/10

I'm a sucker for all things Batman so it's hard for me to see it with a critical eye. But on re-watching this for the second time I found myself cringing at a few of the lines of dialogue that were so obviously there just to explain plot devices. They could've simplified the plot a lot with Bane - still have him take over the city and threaten to blow it up if someone tries to leave - but loose all the "fancy" requirements around the bomb and Selena's desire to get rid of her past.
