Adrien Brody's quite good huh I have to say this is the first time I've seen a movie with an intermission (not counting Angels in America), I did not know it was a 3h long movie until I looked it up during intermission lmao A rather grandiose movie not just in length but also in big dramatic shots. Sometimes a little heavy-handed... When that last scene of act II panned upward from the crucifix beam cast on the altar to the inverted crucifix skylight above that was kinda cheesy lol I also did not realize the Van Buren Institute was supposed to look incredibly claustrophobic and unwelcoming until they literally said out loud it was supposed to resemble the camp he was in lmao But man... László had managed to escape Harrison's toxicity to New York but was dragged back in like. man Okay but the ending though?? The PowerPoint transitions... the disco music... WHY did they end this so goofy lmaooo
