I think the ending misses a little. It doesn't make sense that he can just rip out Elspeth's tubing like that after having been bequeathed the entire mansion and fortune as an outsider to the family without being investigated by the police, it doesn't make sense that his motive in the end is to just get the mansion all to himself, it doesn't make sense that he resumes his plot like 20 years later (what else has he been doing in this time? he's a person who continued living for 20 years like he wasn't just waiting for sir whatever to drop dead (although I guess perhaps he was bribed with enough money to comfortably Wait)) also it Does Not Hit as a satire. so I don't think it was a satire at all just because the movie has Rich People Dead doesn't mean it was a satire about rich people Jacob Elordi is babygirl tho
