Rated The Pirate Movie 7/10

This review may contain spoilers. Watched this the only way anyone should: while drinking with your mom while she alternates between giddily reciting the lines, loudly laughing and over-explaining the jokes, and praising you for copying it off her old VHS tape and bringing it on a flash drive across the country so she can watch it on the PLEX server you just set up for her (with subtitles and everything!). Look, it’s camp. I like how gay it is. it feels like when you make a movie with your friends. It’s good-bad, through and through. Give me a happy ending, every time.
