Presented in its intended context, with limited commercial interruption! ¹ There was a time in the 1980's when what everyone, I guess, assumed kids liked was “deeply uncanny full body puppetry” and “Incredible stop motion effects” and “Upsettingly mature themes of the aftermath of trauma” and I can see how that could scar the entire generation just before mine. Not me though, I saw a Goofy costume character at Disneyland when I was like six and had nightmares for a year straight so I completely missed anything even like this. Which means I can really appreciate this as a thirty-year-old liberal arts degree holder b/c that is who this is for: Adult film editors and maybe, maybe , the sort of kid who thinks “How the hell are they doing all this puppetry in this hall of mirrors…and before cgi!?” which is to say, young film editors, I guess. Anyway for sure duo not show this to a kid unless they’re already making disturbing puppets and/or short films. Little P. Tippet’s, if you will. ¹ Why the fuck am I paying for Disney+ if I’m going to be getting ads during the show! Fuck that!
