This review may contain spoilers. I am thinking it is , in fact, a good and healthy idea to concoct an elaborate semi-autobiographical scheme where I compel my family to finally understand me and perform the correct way I always wanted them to and say the lines I wrote for them :-) I am certain I am not totally missing the point of this film, and will now submit my application to the state film board — whoops forgot I live in a country that doesn't have public funding for the arts 🙃 - the way she just takes off work to have a breakdown, hell yeah thats a country - does every house in Norway have a dedicated suicide room? is that what “the nordic model” is? - pretty easy to Monday-morning quarterback this dead grandmother but if ~I~ had been convicted of treason against the nazis, you couldn't shut *me* up man I’d be crowing about that forever no matter how much I got tortured (I say having never been tortured, so who knows. but still). - when S. Skarsgard grabbed the whole, nearly new, roll of paper towels and used it like one giant sponge I was like. wow. either powerful character work or S. Skarsgard is *actually* the most divorced man to ever live - shout out the letterboxd rental thing! first time
