Rated Patlabor: The Movie 6/10

A classic “two episodes of the tv show awkwardly glued together” type movie, which for patlabor the show about trying everything *but* being a mecha anime ends up feeling, even more awkward and slow and stretched out. But some of those frames are nice as hell, the canals and destroyed parts of Tokyo. And it ends in a big mecha fight which kinda feels like a different, more mainstream show, but is very cool. But they never play the theme song! C'mon!
