Rated Green City Wars 10/10

His Dogs of War series made it clear that Tchaikovsky is intrigued by the idea of "augmented service animals" or Gehirner and has the wit and vivid imagination to spin a fascinating story from it. I'll leave the plot synopsis to the copy writers at Tor because it's far too wild and amusing for me to make the attempt. I came late to Tchaikovsky because those descriptions can be intimidating to an ancient sf reader. Thank God the man is prolific as Hell because I've got a huge amount of back catalog to work my way through. Suffice it to say that he's a genius and a cracking good storyteller. Green City Wars brought me enormous pleasure.
