Rated Gideon the Ninth 10/10

It’s actually kind of funny I ended up liking this as much as I did. I tried reading it a while back and thought it was dumb… but soooo many people recommended it so I thought I would try again.

This time around I tried listening to an audiobook and it was a completely different experience. The narration was awesome, and I got the humour in ways that didn’t click when I read the book. I think that’s just a thing with me, humour requires timing and emphasis and that’s not something I provide for myself.

Anyways, great book. Hilarious, but also dark, dramatic, mysterious, and just about anything else you might want.
