Rated Jurassic Park 8/10
Ripped through this book like a raptor claw through a human abdomen! I read this for the first time in grade 4 (?) and so this was like reading it for the first time.

Man, this should be required reading for engineers. The dinosaurs are great, but my favourite part of the storyline was the presentation of the park as a state of the art infallible machine only to witness it crumble under the weight of its creators egos. Small but crucial assumptions in design snowball into massive failures and it was a lot of fun to watch the whole thing crumble.

A few random complaints: the kids weren't written very well, and the climax of the story felt underwhelming.

Great book, and still very much worth reading even if you've seen the movie!
