Rated Wind and Truth 7/10
I...don't think it would be appropriate to call this an explosive conclusion to the first arc. There were some small firecrackers, but it was a very slow buildup that took me a long time to get into. I'm saying this as a pretty huge Sanderson fan.
There are a LOT of philosophical gems scattered through these pages, and a decent twist at the end, but it was a tough read for me.
It should be noted that the criticism here is coming from a not-novelist. Brandon Sanderson's mind is phenomenal, and I love how thorough and unique his world-building is. There were some great foreshadowing events, but also a few things happened that just seemed...convenient. As conflicted as I am about the ending of this arc, I'll still read the rest of the series with excitement when the 2nd arc is released.
