Rated Altered Carbon 8/10

A great, but gritty book.

Combine the sex/violence of Game of Thrones with the "who done it" of Sherlock Holmes with the "wow, the future could be crazy/interesting/weird" of good sci-fi.

It was a fun ride. Excited to get to the end of it, but I didn't finish with any warm and/or happy feelings.

Think Bruce Willis in Last Man Standing.

Yeah. Gritty.
