Rated The Northman 8/10

Very enjoyable, I always find it difficult to fault any part of Egger's aesthetic. Skarsgard and Taylor-Joy both put in excellent performances, and it was a delight to see Bjork as a Norn. Dafoe's part was also a delight for me, but that is to be expected at this point. As for the plot and pacing, I found the first 2/3-3/4 incredibly engaging and enjotable, but it does kind of reach a point and begin rushing to the end. Perhaps this is in line with the original tale, I am unfamilliar. The end is a damn spectacle though, I cannot fault that aspect. Overall very pleasing to watch but falls in the bottom half of Egger's work so far for me.
