<div>I have only read Pride &amp; Prejudice so I cannot avoid comparisons and Anne felt blah as the female protagonist.&nbsp;</div><div>I felt so bad for her, she's basically invisible, nobody cares about her. She's too needy.</div><div>Maybe I feel this way because I'm looking at this with a current point of view but her character was just pitiful. I didn't feel this way about Elizabeth though.&nbsp;</div><div>BTW the introduction from this edition spoiled the whole plot 🤦🏻‍♀️</div>
