<div>&lt;spoiler&gt;Written in 1913-1914 and yet Maurice's life struggles sound contemporary. I hate how society then and now scars people from the LGBT+ community.&nbsp;</div><div>I really like how Maurice rejected religion and basically any other social constraints or traditions in order to accept himself in the end. Light at the end of the dark night ❤️‍🩹</div><div>The significance of this book is great but I gotta say I did struggle with the way it's written.</div><div>BTW I'm still mad he got expelled. &lt;/spoiler&gt;</div>
