Rated Never Cry Wolf 8/10

A solitary wilderness survival film with first person narration and an environmental message that manages to avoid all the pitfalls associated with each of those labels. There's a nice sprinkling of humor throughout, which helps keep it from being too one-note; the juggling scene under the ctedits is particularly great at that. The landscape and wildlife shots are incredible, though they also featured a lot more of Charles Martin Smith's ass than I would have expected. Nature, I guess!
