There's certainly a good idea for a film here, but so little is done to expand it into a full story that the end result is abysmal. There are no characters to speak of, which resulted in little emotional investment in the sasquatches individually. There's still enough there as a group that the moment when they first spot a large red X painted onto a tree hits pretty hard, but it's the only moment in the entire film that does.
